Southwest Territory Sales Manager — USA

Job Description: Due to tremendous growth, POLARIS Laboratories, LLC is now searching for an additional Territory Sales Manager for the Southwest region of the United States to compliment our existing sales staff. This position is responsible for sourcing new accounts as well as increasing business with current accounts within Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico and Kansas. Other responsibilities will include training customers on the proper methods for gathering fluid samples, developing and conducting sales presentations, generating proposals and closing activities, acting as a representative at selective trade shows and providing an exceptional level of customer service. The ability to travel up to 50% is required and expected to adequately cover the territory.

Qualified candidates will have five or more years of related sales experience in equipment sales, lubricant sales, or specific sales knowledge within our industry, excellent communications and presentation skills, along with a BS/BA in Sales/Marketing or equivalent related experience.

Data Analyst — Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Description: This position is responsible for learning all aspects of sample analysis, microscopic analysis, interpretation of results and explanation of data to customers.

  • Responsible for data quality and accuracy

  • Interprets data, analyzes results and presents recommended course of action to customers

  • Performs microscopic analysis (analytical ferrography, photomicrograph, micropatch)

  • Direct customers to appropriate testing

  • Extensive customer contact regarding testing, customer questions, and/or feedback

  • Severity 3 reports for either Mobile Equipment or Industrial applications are sent without review

  • Will at times be working in lab setting with exposure to petroleum products, fumes, odors, mists, and dusts

  • BS/BA in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering and/or 5+ years related experience in Oil Analysis, Lubrication, Maintenance or Reliability Engineering

  • Achieve STLE OMA II certification within one year

Job Description: Develop and maintain desktop and web applications. Manage and support Cache Databases.

Hours: 2nd Shift 3-11:30pm / 3rd Shift 11pm-7:30 am. This position is responsible for running specific laboratory equipment and testing samples daily which requires a specialized knowledge of processes.

Job Description: Perform daily routine lab analyses, observe and read instrumentation to determine operating conditions during testing and run lab testing equipment. No laboratory experience, however; must have a mechanical or technical aptitude. We will train the right person.
