Laboratory Technician
Job Description: The position is responsible for running oil and fluid testing on samples.
Ideal candidates for this position should possess a winning attitude, strong work history and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. Experience in production, assembly or laboratory environment are strong pluses.

Indianapolis, IN
Data Analyst
Job Description: POLARIS Laboratories™ is seeking a Data Analyst at its Indianapolis Facility. Applicants will be expected to master all aspects of data analysis including the interpretation and explanation of fluid analysis results and the communication of maintenance recommendations to customers. Although a plus, lubrication experience is not required — training will be offered. POLARIS provides a friendly, team-centered environment, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, short term disability, a 401(k) plan and paid holiday, vacation and personal time.

Maintenance & Calibration Specialist
Job Description: This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of the facility. This includes knowledge of specific laboratory equipment and sample testing that requires a specialized knowledge of processes. Responsibilities also include lab equipment maintenance and repair, ordering of laboratory supplies and inventory control.
Essential Functions:
- Inspect, maintain and repair laboratory equipment
- Assist Laboratory Operations Manager in ordering supplies and equipment
- Responsible for inventory control of spare parts.
- Observe and read instrumentation to determine operating conditions during testing
- Special duties as assigned by management
- Help facilitate a “team” environment
- Facility Maintenance
- Monitor equipment by tracking up time / down time
- Be available by phone 24hrs a day
- Some travel required
Production Technicians
Job Description: POLARIS is currently seeking experienced Production Technicians for 2nd and 3rd Shift Laboratory Operations at our Indianapolis facility. The position is responsible for running oil and fluid testing on samples.
Ideal candidates for this position should possess a winning attitude, strong work history and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. Experience in production, assembly or laboratory environment are strong pluses.

Sample Processors & Processing Assistant
Job Description: POLARIS Laboratories is the leader in Oil and Fluid Analysis seeking Sample Processing Technicians. These full time positions will accurately and quickly enter information into our database.
- Alpha Numeric data entry - 10,000 keystrokes per hour.
- 1-2 years experience in LIMS or AS400 data entry — preferred.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to handle high volume data.
- Must able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal candidates for this position should possess a winning attitude, a stable work history and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. Experience in production, assembly or laboratory environment a plus.
Position Details:
- Sample Processors - Full Time: Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Sample Processing Assistant - 4 days a week: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Sample Processing Technician
Job Description: This is an entry level position responsible for data entry in a high volume production fluid analysis laboratory. Applicants will be responsible for quickly and accurately logging sample processing information into a computer database. Operation of equipment and software requiring specialized knowledge of the testing process is required as is the use of box cutters to open sample shipments. We are looking for individuals that are highly detail oriented, have strong computer/data entry skills and a great attitude. Additional responsibilities:
- Lift and move sample boxes of up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Apply lab numbers to sample bottles
- Inspect, identify, and separate samples accordingly
- Understand and follow verbal and written commands
- Transfer information from paperwork into the computer system
